February is here and love is in the air. Cute couples are all over our feeds with grand gestures to express their love for each other. February is also when academics are, either in full swing or just beginning (for some of us university students). If you are just totally over the idea of Valentine's Day and prefer to focus on self-love, or want to find some ways to destress, this post is perfect for you!
Starting university can be incredibly intimidating, and if you're moving out of the house to embark on this new chapter of your life, the journey can feel even more daunting. Last year when I started my first year of university, one of the things I was most excited for was to have a space of my own away from home and fill it with things I wanted.
2018 was a year full of change and experimentation for me. I had to evaluate a lot of my personal relations and activities that I found to be toxic for my well-being, and the major cause of much of the toxicity in my life stemmed from social media.
This past week was insanely busy for me and it's only going to get busier and more exciting from here on out but, I love it! Christmas bells are faintly ringing, Mariah Carey's infamous holiday music is on full blast and it's time for family reunions. A great way to spend some family time is by checking out Canal Walk's Space Station running from 7 December to 4 January

Olivia's New Life 'awarded' the Blogger Recognition Award to Mild Brown and I haven't been able to post about it because when I received it, I was writing my preliminary exams. Then, the week after my exams finished I had to prepare for my Matric Dance/Ball and after that I had finals to write. But, long story short, I finally have time to write about the BRA now - detailing what it is, what it means and revealing the 10 blogs that I 'award' the title to.
Happy October everyone! I have been sparse with posts recently due to matric being an insanely intense year. However, I'm back for a little while and cannot wait to tell you all about the launch of the latest Olympus camera.
